Who we are
Leading the way in AI and radiology
Our founding members are:
Simon acquired behold.ai in October 2017.
In 2003, Simon founded MEDICA Group (FTSE:MGP) which he built up to be the UK’s largest and most successful teleradiology provider. The startup was entirely self funded; taking huge personal financial risk (including remortgaging his house!) Simon grew MEDICA into the most successful UK teleradiology reporting company in the UK.
He is now solely focused on the development of behold.ai, with the goal of utilising AI to lead the way in tackling the issues facing Radiology today in both the UK and USA.
Emma is a Radiographer by training with a Masters degree in Healthcare Informatics from City University, London.
She has extensive Radiology IT experience, particularly focused on RIS/PACS system management, teleradiology (previously working alongside Simon and Tom as Key Account Manager at MEDICA), project management, Radiology applications training and workflow improvement.
Emma is passionate about the customer experience of behold.ai. She works seamlessly, using her vast knowledge of the day to day running of a Radiology department, with the behold.ai’s technical and clinical teams. Emma’s primary goal is to deliver a patient and client focused approach to our services with complete end user satisfaction.
Dr Thomas Naunton Morgan
Formerly Medical Director of MEDICA Group, he is a renowned Consultant Radiologist with over 40 years of experience in the NHS.
Together with Simon, Tom helped set up and oversee the ‘NightHawk’ out-of-hours reporting service which is now used across the UK.
A digital pioneer in Radiology, his hospital embraced PACS to become the first fully digital hospital in the UK. Leveraging his vast clinical experience, Tom ensures our AI cognitive computing platform aligns with our vision for Radiologists.
