Who we are
Leading the way in AI and radiology
Our founding members are:
Simon acquired behold.ai in October 2017.
In 2003, Simon founded MEDICA Group which he built up to be the UK’s largest and most successful teleradiology provider before leaving in February 2013. He sold MEDICA to the largest charity in the UK, Nuffield Health. The startup was entirely self funded; taking huge personal financial risk (including remortgaging his house!) Simon grew MEDICA into a national teleradiology reporting company.
He is now solely focused on the development of behold.ai, with the goal of utilising AI to lead the way in tackling the issues facing Radiology internationally starting in the UK and USA.
Emma is a Radiographer by training with a Master’s degree in Healthcare Informatics from City University, London.
She has extensive Radiology IT experience, particularly focused on RIS/PACS system management, teleradiology (previously working alongside Simon and Tom as Key Account Manager at MEDICA), project management, Radiology applications training and workflow improvement.
Emma is passionate about the customer experience of behold.ai. She works seamlessly, using her vast knowledge of the day to day running of a Radiology department, with the behold.ai’s technical and clinical teams. Emma’s primary goal is to deliver a patient and client focused approach to our services with complete end user satisfaction.
Robin’s statistical excellence combined with his vast experience in worldwide financial markets, strengthens behold.ai’s ability to analyze complex data and clinical outcomes.
