Machine Learning Engineer

Location: New York

We are currently seeking outstanding machine learning engineers to join our development team. Developers will work on the enhancement and maintenance of our data pipeline including middle-tier and back-end processes. They will gain and utilize experience in designing and implementing solutions for large scale machine learning systems and application server code on cloud offerings.

We build with open source technology, using a newly created stack built from Tensorflow, gRPC, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kubernetes & GCP – we’re open to trying out new things to find the best tool for the job.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Research, design and prototype new models and approaches based on machine learning, esp. deep learning, and statistical analysis.
  • Implement and execute machine learning research with reliability and reproducibility.
  • Familiarity with deep learning CV methods for localization, detection, classification or segmentation a plus.
  • Develop proof-of-concept systems to demonstrate advanced model performance.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Keep up with deep learning literature and research publications in order to implement the latest techniques into our networks and pipelines.
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
  • Experienced in mainstream deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch/Torch, TensorFlow, MxNet, Caffe, etc.
  • Turn models into data products, collaborate with engineering teams, and integrate into process throughout behold.ai.
  • Excellent knowledge of the latest developments in the deep learning field
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN

A PLUS IF

  • You have a Doctorate Degree or Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science/Physics or similar with equivalent practical experience

Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer

Location: London

behold.ai is expanding to meet the needs of the global healthcare market with the regulatory and clinical strategy being the core component. To that end, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer to support and progress the implementation of our regulatory strategy.

The Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer’s main responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management and administration of our ISO 13485 QMS and our ISO 27001 ISMS
  • Medical Device File management and administration
  • Work closely with Certification Bodies, Notified Bodies, Competent Authorities & Federal Agencies
  • Support EU MDD/MDR submission work (e.g. Technical File, Clinical Evaluation Report, Risk/Hazard Management etc)
  • Support US FDA submission work (510k & PMA)
  • Lead on the development of internal policies, processes, procedures, work instructions & workflows.
  • Lead on internal QMS & ISMS audits and training
  • Monitor & report on QMS / ISMS objectives
  • Provide Information governance support (Primarily DPA 2018, GDPR & HIPAA)
  • NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit support and administration
  • Lead on Risk/Hazard Management activities

REQUIREMENTS

As an applicant for this position, you will have experience in:

  • Advanced level experience of Quality Assurance and ISO 13485 QMS Administration
  • Advanced level experience in the Medical Devices industry
  • Experience with Medical Device CE Marking (e.g. Technical File Creation)
  • Experience with Medical Device FDA submissions (e.g. 510k submission)
  • Internal Audit
  • Implementing, following and improving software processes in accordance to standards such as EN ISO 13485 and BS EN BS 62304 software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA and other global data protection regulations

We are currently seeking outstanding Fullstack Software engineers to join our development team to help us build our front and back-end web environment and our data pipeline. Designing to scale is critical to the backbone of the company and the right candidate will bring experience of large scale application deployments.

This role does not require Machine Learning experience.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Design overall architecture of the web application.
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.
  • Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
  • Highly experienced with back-end programming languages Ex Python, Javascript
  • Proficient experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS, BackboneJS, Meteor
  • Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Understanding of server-side services such as elasticsearch, redis
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN.
