Business Development Manager

Location: London

We are seeking an outstanding Business Development Manager to join our organisation and lead the sales and customer engagement across the UK and internationally. This role will require strong customer facing skills and the ability to network with key individuals across the public and private healthcare system. The individual will have a natural ability to engage our customers and be able to independently manage the sales pipeline to increase company revenue.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advanced level business development experience within healthcare selling to senior level executives in public and private Healthcare organisations (NHS, Private Hospital Groups)
  • Experience and understanding of the diagnostic imaging market, PACS systems, Radiology Information Systems (RIS), or medical imaging
  • Experience and understanding of the medical device development process, lifecycle management and commercialisation
  • Excellent analytic and strategic selling skills
  • Ability to build and develop a deal model, business case, analyses as required by customers
  • Create excellent and professional customer facing proposals, presentations
  • Lead and deliver presentations to customers, documenting meeting minutes and responding to actionable items
  • Monitor, manage and respond to public procurement opportunities relevant to the company’s products and services
  • Leadership skills and ability to collaborate across departmental functions
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial mind-set and a track record of results
  • Proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-growing company
  • Build and increase the sales pipeline through active engagement
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Manage and maintain leads, opportunities into Client Relationship Management (CRM) system

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Advanced level of experience in a business development or sales leadership role (ideally with some experience of working in a start-up organisation)
  • Experience of the healthcare market through experience with diagnostic imaging devices or similar, PACS systems, Radiology Information Systems (RIS), DICOM imaging standards
  • Management of a CRM solution to manage sales opportunities, leads and forecasting models for revenue
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth

NICE TO HAVE

  • Masters degree or MBA
  • Previous experience in a Sales leadership role
  • Knowledge of AI within the healthcare market
  • Previous experience of working with NHS organisations
  • Previous experience working in the Medical Devices industry
  • Previous experience of working with partnership organisations for international growth
